Gabita: A Sweet Script Font for Romantic Brand Identities

Logo Design: Gabita worked beautifully in a wordmark logo for the tea shop project. The natural flow of the letters gave the logo a soft, inviting feel that matched the brand’s personality. I used it on a transparent background for a digital version and on a printed label mockup, and both looked clean and elegant.
Packaging Mockups: When placed on a tea box design, Gabita’s curves softened the overall look, making the product feel more luxurious and handmade. It paired well with a simple sans serif for supporting text, creating a nice visual contrast without overpowering the layout.
Social Media Graphics: On Instagram story templates and Pinterest pins, Gabita looked stunning as a headline font. Its decorative style made the text stand out, and the PUA encoding allowed me to add flourishes and ligatures easily to enhance the visual appeal.
Business Cards & Print Materials: In printed formats, Gabita held up well at medium sizes, though I noticed it started to lose clarity below 10pt. This makes it better suited as a headline or accent font rather than for long body copy in print.
Web Design: I used Gabita for a hero section on a brand landing page, and it created a strong visual impact. However, I made sure to pair it with a clean sans serif for subheadings and body text to maintain readability and hierarchy.

- Script: For a more cohesive, hand-crafted look, pair Gabita with another script font that has a bit more structure—like a brush script or modern calligraphy style.
